Sarsia Development seeks to contribute to the growth and success of its portfolio companies in the life science and IT sectors. Sarsia Development was established in 2009 to consolidate the shareholdings of several Bergen-based investors. 

The fund is currently closed for new investments.

Sarsia Innovation, which has supported research-based commercialisation initiatives since 2002, was merged with Sarsia Development effective from January 2011 .
